I was featured as the Margolis Method Artist of the Week as a Returning Artist to the 2018 Margolis Method Conservatory:

"COUNTDOWN TO SUMMER 2018 PROGRAMS!

Welcoming back Jaclyn McCoy!

Jackie has participated and contributed her artistry to our Summer Program, Barcelona Study Abroad and 12-Week Conservatory 2017.

Her performance project at Conservatory 2017 was an astounding compilation of Blanche Dubois' monologues and moments from A Streetcar Named Desire. We look forward to having Jackie back this summer for Conservatory 2018 -- and can hardly wait to see what she will create!

We first met Jackie McCoy at Rhode Island College where she earned the nickname "The Detective” because of a memorable improvisation she created during a workshop there. It has been said that the studio at the Center is a place where "jokes never die,” and thus Jackie will always be our Detective!

As a Margolis Method Online member, Jackie is presently uploading exercises for feedback and meeting with Kari via Google Chat to deepen, find specificity, and make her audition monologues more performative as well as officially working on her Professional Certification.

Jackie’s progress has been so profound that she is now teaching lessons on the MM Online website, and assisting Kari at workshops. We can see the powerful artist Jackie is becoming, and we intend to continue challenging her in all the best ways."

On March 27th, I sang at The Heavenly Gingers 8 Fundraiser at The Twin River Event Center.  It is a wonderful event that raises money for scholarships for The Keri Anne O’Donnell Memorial Fund and Jessie’s Dream.  These scholarships go to help kids, young adults and local artists pursue their dreams in the arts. If you are interested in learning more about this fundraiser, click the link below.
